REQUEST FOR BID PROPOSALS FOR THE REPAIR OF OLIVE, MULBERRY, AND 7TH STREETS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Peru, Nebraska, until, Monday, the 24th day of August, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time, when the same will be opened and read by the City Clerk in the City Council Chambers, Peru City Hall, 614 5th Street, Peru, Nebraska 68421.
The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of:
Site 04 7th Street
A: Remove and replace 15.81 CY of Asphalt 18 FT long x 14 ft wide x 2 inches deep.
Site 09 Mulberry Street
A: Remove and Replace 28.15 CY of Asphalt 190 ft long x 12 ft wide x 4 inches deep.
Site 10 Olive Street
A: Replace 956 CY of Rock, pit run ¾ in 4.4, 302 ft long x 18 ft wide x 4 inches deep.
Site 11 Olive Street
A: Remove and Replace 24 CY of Asphalt 216ft x 18 ft x 2 inches deep.
All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project clearly marked, “Flood Street Project, Peru, NE 68421” and addressed and delivered to the City of Peru, Nebraska, 614 5th St., Peru, NE 68421. The bid must be accompanied by the following: Bidder’s Checklist; Bid Proposal; Bid Guarantee; Indemnity and Hold Harmless Agreement; and Affirmation Action Compliance.
Copies of the specifications may be obtained at Peru City Hall, Peru, NE 68421, during normal business hours, Monday-Friday.
This bid is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. §73-101. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Nebraska Fair Employment Practice Act (FEPA), Neb. Rev. Stat. §48-1101 et seq., Beb Rev. Stat. §81-1355 through §81-1368, and Neb State Const. Art. 1-30, Affirmative Action requirements of The State of Nebraska.
The Peru City Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
